Three Churches one Community!
Welcome – we extend a warm welcome to parishioners and visitors to our website
Washington Parish was founded from St Michaels Houghton le Spring in 1864 the Church being built and dedicated to Our Blessed Lady Immaculate in 1878, St Bede's was built in 1965 and St John Boste in 1980. The parishes became a cluster in 2002, although we have three churches, we strive to be one community
As Catholic parishes we are dedicated to:
•Worshipping God and celebrating the Sacraments
•Growing in knowledge of our Catholic faith and sharing it with others
•Supporting each other and anyone in need
